چکیده

Multiple motion estimators such as an interacting multiple model (IMM) have been utilized to track target objects cars and pedestrians with diverse patterns. However, the standard IMM has limitations in combining models different state definitions, so it cannot contain a complementary set of that accurately work for all In this paper, we propose IMM-based adaptive tracking heterogeneous velocity representations linear/curvilinear models. It can integrate four definitions dimensions be completely complimentary types motions. We experimentally demonstrate effectiveness proposed method accuracy various patterns using two datasets: synthetic datasets real datasets. Experimental results show achieves also cars, pedestrians, drones world.

Motion based 3D Target Tracking with Interacting Multiple Linear Dynamic Models

In this paper, an algorithm is proposed for vision-based object identification and tracking by autonomous vehicles. In order to estimate the speed of the tracking object, this algorithm fuses information captured by on-board sensors such as camera and inertial sensors. To formulate the tracking algorithm it is necessary to use a proper model which describes the dynamics of the tracking object. ...

Sensor management for multiple target tracking with heterogeneous sensor models

Modern sensors are able to rapidly change mode of operation and steer between physically separated objects. While control of such sensors over a rolling planning horizon can be formulated as a dynamic program, the optimal solution is inevitably intractable. In this paper, we consider the control problem under a restricted family of policies and show that the essential sensor control trade-offs ...

Multiple Target Tracking With a 2-D Radar Using the JPDAF Algorithm and Combined Motion Model

Multiple target tracking (MTT) is taken into account as one of the most important topics in tracking targets with radars. In this paper, the MTT problem is used for estimating the position of multiple targets when a 2-D radar is employed to gather measurements. To do so, the Joint Probabilistic Data Association Filter (JPDAF) approach is applied to tracking the position of multiple targets. To ...

Adaptive Multi-Target Tracking in Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Networks

Energy efficient multiple-target tracking is an important application of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Most prior studies consider tracking multiple targets as an extension of executing a single target tracking algorithm multiple times, and use a single parameter for energy efficiency. We consider various factors such as multiple targets tracked by the sensor, remaining energy of the sensor ...

Target Tracking with Unknown Maneuvers Using Adaptive Parameter Estimation in Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract- Tracking a target which is sensed by a collection of randomly deployed, limited-capacity, and short-ranged sensors is a tricky problem and, yet applicable to the empirical world. In this paper, this challenge has been addressed a by introducing a nested algorithm to track a maneuvering target entering the sensor field. In the proposed nested algorithm, different modules are to fulfill...
